About George

George is a meditation teacher, clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, with a passion for awareness-based meditation, nervous system regulation, and self-inquiry. Prior to moving into therapeutic and mindfulness-based work, he worked as an airline captain and aviation safety investigator, experiences which deepened his understanding of stress, performance, and the importance of mental and emotional wellbeing.

His personal meditation journey began through mindfulness and breath awareness practices, gradually evolving into a deeper exploration of presence, consciousness, and contemplative self-inquiry. Through both personal experience and professional training, George came to recognise that many people struggle with meditation not because they are “doing it wrong,” but because busy, overwhelmed, or stressed nervous systems often make stillness difficult to access.

This understanding became the foundation for Purusha Meditation and Mindfulness — an approach that works with the nervous system rather than asking people to override it. Blending time-honoured contemplative practices with a modern understanding of nervous system regulation, his approach aims to create meditation experiences that are grounded, compassionate, and realistic for everyday life.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help people build the nervous system capacity needed for calm, clarity, and balance in everyday life. Through meditation and mindfulness, we support emotional regulation, resilience, and sustainable well-being - in a way that works with the body, not against it.

We are committed to sharing wellbeing tools, offering educational content on nervous-system regulation, and fostering a community interested in mindfulness. Our goal is to create a supportive and healing environment for every individual, and to make meditation and mindfulness accessible to all.
